It was really really sad to see him go cause he really is one of the heroes of the leaf. So lets try and figure him out. Itachi and sasukes relationship has always been one with mix emotions, while sasuke always wanted to be with itachi, itachi always brush him off and when he did take sasuke with him in the he just brush him off some more with that poke in the forehead haha.
But this time he realized that it truely was yhe last time he was gonna see him so he took the oportunity, came in close and when he was just about to poke him he grabbed him by the neck instead and that really shook me up but the best part is yet to come. He looks at him and with a satiesfyed look on his face lets him know that it doesn't matter what path he chooses and what decisions he makes he will always love him....WUUUUUYYYY ... now that was heary breaking haha.
In the end Itachi got some closure and sasuke actually changed his mind for once so tjats great.. tell me what did you think about itachis final good bye to sasuke.. comment below and I'll comment right back... God bless yoh and take care... :-)

44okay, i know this is commenting very very late, but i can't help the fact that i was so behind on naruto due to "misconceptions that i thought of as reality" ;) but i totally have to say, even when i had no idea of how great itachi was and still thought him to be the traitor just before he cornered sasuke with his susano'o, i still felt it a real shame of him dying like that.. and when i understood the hero he was, the rest became history (it took me two days to snap out of the itachi-praising reverie and an additional day to come to terms with sasuke's decision lol) so yeah, the blog pretty much echoed my feelings too!
Jaja for me right now itachi is one of the biggest heroes of the leaf and although sasuke wants to become hokage we really should wonder if it is for the right reasons. I think thats why itachi trusted sasukes future to naruto because it is as he said, sasuke is a blank canvas. Jeje hope you like it.
