Now this anime takes place in a modern setting and a relistic one for that matter, and is part of one of the most coolest genres in my opinion which is that investigating stuff with some dark spirit stuff of course jaja.
The whole series takes place around a death note which is this book that allows you to kill a person just by writting his/her name on a sheet of paper, now isn't that a great way to get rid of someone jeje. Now when you talk about suspense and emotion this is your show this is one of the most mind bending shows out there I mean how can you sit down and watch light play that innocent brat jaja when behind the scenes his planning the worse scheme in human history jeje that was some great stuff jeje.
Now what about L this guy is one of the most amazing detective out there, This guy was in lights tail all day he didn't even let him go to the bathroom alone jaja this guy was bad ass.
But we can safely say that light is one of the greatest masterminds in anime history, the way he planned it all and the way it was a success now that was great.
And then we can't forget about the sexy part yep you guess't missa missa wuuu what a hot piece of babe she was jeje, and the best part is that she was a killer to jajaja.. but seriously light was so focused on his wacko plan that he treated her like a bag of dirt he didn't take advantage of her crush for him jajaa.
Missa missa was a hot mess case closed jeje.
And then we have lights father that went with that " i'll kill you bit to get light to talk and instead ended up dying himself now that was some craizy shit.
In the end this anime proved that you don't need super human strengh or beams shooting out of your eyes to be a good anime cause this detective stuff mix up with the shikigami thing was great so I"ll give it 9/10.
